Until they take it down. Another brilliant Saturday Night Live Digital Short from Andy Samberg and friends with landsmen Jake Gyllenhall and Adam Levine making cameos.
That one was great. And quickly written and executed. I can't imagine the fun it would be to work on that show, or Stewart or Colbert. Topical, quick and very witty.
Do you think comedy writers want to be copywriters?
JP: I read somewhere (NY Times, I think) that it took them 5 days to pull the whole thing together which seemed like an eternity to Samberg, who was used to pulling these things together in a day or two.
Which begs the question of why it takes us a month to shoot a 30 second spot...
